The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Colonel Colvill Camp 56 invites you to a multiple Civil War Headstone Dedication Ceremony at the Oakland Cemetery. The ceremony will be at 2:00, the Saturday before Memorial Day, May 24th.
Join us in honoring these Civil War soldiers who have patriotically served our country during the Civil War. Help us to show proper respect for these veterans, many of which have been in unmarked graves for decades.

In 2024, we ordered 217 headstones from the VA. Join us in an 1860s ceremony to dedicate these headstones at Oakland Cemetery on May 24th in the Soldiers Rest area by the Fireman statue.
